Get Wet Adventure

Situated between Bala and Corwen, Get Wet offer activities to suit everyone, so whether you are an individual or part of a group we can easily tailor activities to suit your needs. They currently operate the highest continuous high ropes course in the UK, starting at 7m and traversing its way through the forest until it reaches 21m above the ground.

Get Wet also run paintball sessions, 4x4 off road safaris, team building courses and more.


Mountain Biking

The area around Cae Coryn Cottage is a mecca for mountain bikers. There are a number of centres offering Bike Trails for all abilities.

Bala Golf Course

This 10-hole course is on a plateau nearly 1000 feet above sea level, commanding wide sweeps of picturesque countryside with the famed and beautiful Llyn Tegid like a jewel in the valley.


Llandegla Laser Combat

A fun day out with the family from the age 7. Great, competitive fun with state of the art Laser Tag Equipment. Battle your way through a range of adrenaline packed missions, purposely designed for your group!


The National White Water Centre

Rafting and kayaking on the steep and rocky river Treweryn. The Tryweryn is a dam released river so water is often flowing when other British rivers are dry, producing a unique year round whitewater venue.


Clay Pigeon Shooting

Fauxdegla Shooting Ground, Llandegla, has a fantastic range of activities DTL ABT UT Skeet and Sporting going on at their stunning ground.


Rheilffordd Llyn Tegid | Bala Lake Railway

A delightful 9-mile return journey alongside Bala Lake (Llyn Tegid) with excellent views of the lake amid its surrounding pastoral and woodland scenery and of the nearby mountains, Arenig Fawr, Aran Benllyn and Aran Fawddwy.

Access is available to the lake shore at various points for swimming, fishing or simply lazing by the waterside.
